Me ‘n Quest Love backstage gettin’ ready to rip….  and yes that’s right we Big Boi and Bosko were rockin’ with the Legendary Roots Crew last night on NBC.  Watch the video below!

Big Boi feat. Bosko “Shutterbugg” was the theme music to kick off the Entourage season 7 premiere episode. Entourage is one of my favorite TV shows, so I was obviously excited to be a part of it!

Naturally when the red hot Production team Tha Bizness needed talkbox for a new Drake record at Hot Beats Studio Atlanta, GA they contacted the “Talkbox King.” In the lab Drake bobbed his head to my single “Just Do You.” Then, he played me a bunch of bangin’ unreleased cuts and I played him some new Bosko songs/tracks. With both of us being singers and rappers, we were on the same page and the musical vibe was redonculous! So I did what I do, put it down ElectroSpit style (my brand of signature Talkbox sound), Drizzy did what he does, and voilà… magic! Be on the lookout for future collabs! Listen/Download here:! Can I share? I just got back from the “Shutterbug” video shoot in Atlanta! MAAAAN, what an honor… My dude Chris Carmouche(Big Boi’s Exec Producer/Engineer) hit me in the middle of the night to come lace the song a few months back at Stankonia Studios. I knew it was “that one” as soon as I heard it! Scott Storch killed the beat and Big Boi put down some instantly classic lines…Cutty brought the hook vocals and I did my ElectroSpit thang (Talkbox all throughout!) and co-wrote a bridge w/Big. Making the song was epic and to be in Atlanta shooting the video with a member of the biggest rap group of all time…priceless. Here are a few pics. I’ll be posting some video soon!

Chris Robinson was directing and he and Big Boi kept it trill with some of the thickest (and finest) birds in the Atl. The shoot was all Digital on the new RED camera so the quality was pristine!

A pair of super sexy dancers were bustin’ some contortionist routines decked out in TRON suits (like the movie). Another scene had Big in the classic 70’s Cadillac Broham.

The main scene I’m in features those puppets that are popular now (like the ones used in the Lebron and Kobe Nike commercials). I don’t want to give to much of the video away before it comes out, but as you can see the video paints a vivid picture of every line on some next level, Avatar special effects type ish!. Optical illusions, camera tricks, and various digital magic made this video one of the sauciest I’ve ever attended…did I mention the video chicks???? I was definitely takin notes! I’m not just sayin this cause I’m in the video, but I’m sure it will win some awards and be one of the best video’s of the year. Bet on it!

Ok fellas, it’s Ronnie Romance time again! The Good Life is better spent together and Valentine’s Day is a perfect opportunity to enjoy it. This V-day is a whole new ball game for me…wifey and I will be in the Bay Area and our son Che’ is 10 months old. This means getting Grandma on deck for some babysitting is the first priority. It also means that all the Bay has to offer is within short driving distance…or as I decided this Valentine’s…a short Ferry Ride!

We’ll start off the festivities right on Saturday with a ferry ride to Tiburon (a cozy little community with sweeping views of the city and the Bay) for lunch and drinks by the water…a perfect place to present the personalized meditation book I found for her. IMO gift giving is all about paying attention to each other’s wants and needs. The daily meditations we started sharing a few months ago have been an amazing source of positive energy and much needed reflection. A special book for writing her meditations will be a perfect gift!

The ferry from Tiburon should return to the San Francisco Pier around 6pm, just in time to slide over to Yoshi’s for a surprise sushi dinner and Dela Soul concert!

We’ll stumble home and cap the night off with a strong concoction we call a Black Mac (Vodka, cream, & Macadamia Nut Liquor we picked up in Kawaii this past Thanksgiving!) and of course Jimmy and Jenny will get very serious…. ☺ Buddy Buddy Buddy!

V-day morning we’ll have a family photo shoot put together by the missus…her Dad’s B-day happens to be Feb 14th, so we’ll dress up to commemorate his first B-day as a grandfather properly in pictures. Next stop is Pican the new upscale soul food restaurant in the renovated Fox Theatre District of Oakland for a family brunch. Then, we’ll hop in the six five impala and cruise 20 min to a mountain bike path around Lake Chabot with views of the lake and bay

…I’ll have the bikes hidden in the Impala’s monster trunk along with a few treats for the ride (her favorite pastry from Lady Finger’s Bakery, fresh Mango Margaritas mixed in a “to-go-er” bottle, and her favorite shrimp sandwich from Genovese Famous Deli)…after a couple hours of ridin’, snackin’, sippin’, and chillaxin’ we have his & her massages scheduled with a dip in a private hot tub to finish off a perfect Valentine’s Day(s)!
